A group of diplomats from Eastern Africa finished their training at Clingendael Academy. For three weeks, the diplomats took part in various seminars and working visits to strengthen their professional skills and expand their knowledge on international relations.

Part of their programme was a visit to the Sub-Saharan Africa department of the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Here, the diplomats met with their counterparts to discuss the contours of the new Africa strategy that is being written and exchange views on the various bilateral programmes that these countries are working on together.
