Roman de Baedts is a Junior Research Fellow at the Clingendael Security Unit, primarily working on the Security & Defence Program. His research focuses on security and defence issues, including national and international defence policy, defence industry, military strategy, and EU-NATO relations.
Roman holds a BA and an MA in European Studies from the University of Amsterdam, as well as an MA in Military Strategic Studies from the Netherlands Defence Academy. He previously also worked as an intern for Clingendael’s Security Unit, assisting the Security & Defence and Strategic Foresight Programs.
