Jan Rood
Head Strategic Research
Jan Rood is Head of Strategic Research at the Clingendael Institute. In this role he leads a four years project which focuses specifically on the position of the Netherlands in a changing international system and on the implications of these changes for Dutch foreign policy. Before his appointment as Head of Strategic Research he was the Head of the Clingendael European Studies Programme (2005-2009) and head of the Clingendael Research department (1997-2004).
