Members of the Advisory Board of a Clingendael-led project on the politics of green growth and energy security elaborate on the relevance of looking at this topic. They outline project expectations and why it is so challenging and essential to forge energy security objectives with a credible green growth strategy.

The video includes messages by Michel Rentenaar (Special Climate Envoy of the Netherlands), Angela Cadena (professor Universidad des Los Andes, Colombia), Yvo de Boer (Director Global Green Growth Institute), Joyeeta Gupta (University of Amsterdam and UNESCO-IHE), Tom Owino (ClimateCare, Nairobi), Bert Metz (European Climate Foundation), David Sogge (Political Economy expert) and Louise van Schaik (Clingendael)

The video is part of the Achieving green growth: the political economy of energy security project.
