Clingendael Anniversary Book: Challenges in a Changing World
December 9, 2008.
The 25th anniversary of the Clingendael Institute is not only an appropriate reason to look in retrospect, but also to look into the future. This is why the Institute presents a new book in which research fellows from all Clingendael Programmes shed some light on the near future regarding their research topics.
In so doing all four main domains of specialization at Clingendael – Europe, Diplomacy, Security and Energy – are well represented. In the tradition of the Clingendael Institute, the different chapters in this book are not hypothetical foresights written from an ivory tower, but thought-provoking, policy-oriented chapters that will be relevant to anyone interested in international relations.
Book details: Jaap de Zwaan, Edwin Bakker & Sico van der Meer (eds.), Challenges in a Changing World: Clingendael Views on Global and Regional Issues. The Hague, T.M.C. Asser Press 2008, 259 pp., ISBN 978-90-6704-297-0.
The book can soon be purchased at Cambridge University Press.
