Clingendael 25 years: 'Reflecting the World'

The Netherlands Institute of International Relations 'Clingendael' was established 25 years ago, after a merger of the Netherlands Society of International Affairs (NGIZ), the Institute of Peace Studies (NIVV), the Defence Research Centre, and the Public Information Desk of the United Nations/Dutch Association on the International Legal Order. 3 January 2008 will be Clingendael's Silver Anniversary.
Throughout the year several events will be organised to celebrate the anniversary. The different events will display Clingendael's wide expertise on subject matters in the field of Energy, Diplomacy, European Studies and Security, and will target our variety of stakeholders, including diplomats, policy makers, academics, students, and the general public. The overall theme of the anniversary is 'Reflecting the World', representing Clingendael's function as a bridge between international politics, the Dutch policy maker and the society. Read more »
