Marc Bentinck joins Clingendael on a temporary secondment
October 14, 2004. Marc Bentinck is a Netherlands Foreign Service officer, on a temporary secondment to Clingendael. He has mainly been working on political-military issues, both at the Foreign Ministry in The Hague and abroad.
His foreign postings include the NATO International Staff in Brussels and Iraq, where he served as political advisor/liaison to the general officer commanding the multinational division south-east in Basrah. As a researcher at Clingendael he will concentrate on NATO and, possibly, Dutch-Indonesian issues. Marc Bentinck is an associate member of the International Institute for Strategic Studies in London.
