Open Monumentendag
August 24, 2004. On Saturday 11 September, the Clingendael Institute will open its doors to the general public on the occasion of the annual Dutch so-called Open Monumentendag. This year's general theme is the (military) defence of The Netherlands, within the framework of the commemoration of the fact that the famous Dutch builder of military fortifications, Menno van Coehoorn, died 300 years ago.
The Clingendael Institute will be open from 10.00 - 16.00 hrs. The public has access to the hall and both conference rooms on the first floor of the Huys Clingendael. The library, as well as the private offices of the Clingendael staff, as well as other rooms of the Institute, will not be accessible. (Public Event)
