  • Association for the Study of Nationalities: ASN is an international association focusing on research and analysis of ethnic and national issues in the post-communist states. They publish Nationalities Papers and Analysis of Current Events, among other publications, and run many activities.
  • Center for World Indigenous Studies: An independent, non-profit [U.S. 501(c)(3)] research and education organization dedicated to wider understanding and appreciation of the ideas and knowledge of indigenous peoples and the social, economic and political realities of indigenous nations.
  • European Centre for Minority Issues: Conducts practice-oriented research, provides information and documentation, and offers advisory services concerning minority-majority relations in Europe. It serves European governments and regional intergovernmental organizations as well as non-dominant groups in the European area
  • Ethnopolitics Specialist Group: We are a multidisciplinary, international network of academics and practitioners with an interest in ethnopolitics, established under the auspices of the Political Studies Association of the United Kingdom. They publish Ethnopolitics: a peer-reviewed online journal
  • International Centre for Ethnic Studies: ICES has striven to evolve a model of historically sensitive, theoretical and empirical research on ethnicity, and related socio-economic, political and cultural process.
  • Journal on Ethnopolitics and Minority Issues in Europe
  • Minorities at Risk: An independent, university of Maryland based research project that monitors and analyzes the status and conflicts of politically-active communal groups in countries with a population of at least 500,000. The project is designed to provide information in standardized form that will contribute to the understanding and peaceful accommodation of conflicts involving communal groups.   • Minority Rights Group International: International non-governmental London-based organisation works to secure the rights of ethnic, religious and linguistic minorities and acts as an advocate of the rights of minorities.
  • Office of the OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities: Established to identify and seek early resolution of ethnic tensions that might endanger peace, stability or friendly relations between OSCE participating States.
  • Unrepresented Nations and Peoples Organisation: An international organisation created by nations and peoples around the world, who are not represented as such in the world´s principal international organisations, such as the United Nations.
