  • Academic Info: Latin American Studies: A comprehensive, annotated directory.
  • Andanzas al Web Latino: Links from New Mexico State University Library.
  • Andean Community: Information in English and Spanish on the economic and social integration process among Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Venezuela.
  • Centre for Latin American Research and Documentation: Conducts and coordinates social science research on Latin America, publishes and distributes the results of such research, and assembles and makes accessible documentary and scholarly materials for the study of the region. The Centre also offers an academic teaching programme on the societies and cultures of Latin America.
  • Handbook of Latin American Studies: From the Hispanic Division of the United States Library of Congress, this is an annual multidisciplinary bibliography on Latin America, consisting of works selected and annotated by scholars. It is now online as a thoroughly searchable database, from Volume 1 (1935) to date.

  • Latin America Data Base: An on-line publisher and information resource. LADB produces three weekly electronic publications (Sourcemex, NotiCen and NotiSur) and maintains an on-line searchable data base of over 24,000 articles (from back issues of LADB publications) as well as Latin American journals. Publications are available by subscription.
  • Latin America Research Group: Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta: studies economic, financial, and political developments in Latin America and the Caribbean. The analysis is used to assist in monitoring Latin American financial systems and in providing general assessments of macroeconomic conditions in the region.

  • Latin American Development Archive: At Johns Hopkins University. LADARK contains data sets and other information useful to social scientists who are doing research on Latin American development. These materials may be copied freely for scholarly research and educational purposes.
