Defence Issues
The Clingendael Security and Conflict Programme researchers analyse a myriad of factors that influence the development of defence and security policy. The dynamics of intra-state conflicts, proliferation of non-conventional weapons, security sector reform and the future strategic environment are amongst CSCP's wide variety of studies that support policy makers, for instance at the Dutch Ministry of Defence. Through co-operation with national and international partners, as well as with visiting fellows and consultants, CSCP has the ability to provide the defence sector with in- depth policy advise.
CSCP studies the present-day state of affairs and investigates foreseeable or imaginable situations that may affect national and international security.
