CSCP Policy Brief: The future of the Dutch armed forces: from ambition to a new reality
March 3, 2008. In the coming 18 months, an interdepartmental commission will be investigating the future of the Dutch Defence budget. In this Policy Brief of the Clingendael Security and Conflict Programme, it is argued that the discussion about a long term policy for the Defence organisation should not be based on current limitations and problems, but on the political ambitions of the Dutch government in the field of security policy.
