Open Enrolment Courses
Our open-enrolment courses are available to all professionals from the public, private and non-profit sectors. For the majority of our courses, the only entry requirement is an undergraduate university degree.
Specific expertise is, however, required to enrol on some courses. Please check the general course information to see if this is the case. If you need any additional information, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Enrolment
To enrol, you can download the application form at the Clingendael website, fill it in and fax it to +31 70 3282002.
Once your company or sponsor has confirmed your details and ratified your enrolment request, we will send you a confirmation letter and invoice. You will receive the course programme, a list of participants and any additional materials at least two weeks before the course begins.
All applications are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. If a particular course becomes oversubscribed, all subsequent applications are placed on a stand-by list. Should a place become available, we will get in touch with you as soon as possible.
Cancellation
To cancel your place on a course, you must notify us in writing. If you find someone to take your place, send us their full details in writing, and we can make the necessary arrangements.
In the event of cancellation, the following conditions apply:
- Cancellation up to four weeks before the course starts: no charges
- Cancellation between four and two weeks of the course starting: 50% of the fee is charged
- Cancellation less than two weeks before the course starts: 100% of the fee is charged
- Leaving the course part-way through: 100% of the fee is charged
If there is insufficient interest for a specific course, the Clingendael Institute reserves the right to cancel it. Any fees already paid will obviously be refunded.
