Education
Developments in the energy industry affect international politics as well as the society at large. The importance of energy in a country's economic and foreign policy as well as in corporate decision making has led to knowledge demand from both the public and private sector. The Clingendael Institute, Leiden University, Delft University and Groningen University are but a few institutes that have incorporated energy education in their curricula to meet this demand. CIEP's contribution to these curricula vary from tutorials at various levels to group assignments and specialised simulations.
Beside contributions to other institutes' educational courses CIEP staff is regularly asked to lecture in seminars and conferences. The content of these lectures differs from occasion to occasion, depending on such factors as the background of the audience and the theme of the conference.
