About the author
Senior research fellow of the Clingendael Institute, is director of the Clingendael International Energy Programme. She is specialised in international political economy, with a focus on the international energy sector. Her main topics of research include OPEC, developments in the Caspian Sea region, the security of Europe’s energy supply and the future role of Russia as a major exporter of oil and gas. She holds a chair at Leiden University in International Political Economy and International Oil Markets and a chair at Groningen University in Geopolitics and energy management. She is also a member of the Dutch General Energy Council (Algemene Energieraad). More »
