An Energy policy for Curacao
June 29, 2009. Together with the Environmental Institute of the Free University of Amsterdam, CIEP has initiated a dialogue process on the island of Curacao with a view to recommend an energy policy for the island. The dialogue process was commissioned by the Curacao Administration and brought all relevant stakeholders together from industry, government, academics and ngo's. The process was furthermore based on specific expert opinions on sustainable energy sources for the island's energy system. The final report is appended (in dutch). CIEP intends to organise a half-day seminar in the autumn on this issue, together with its wider context of the Caribbean oil market. Download.
