CIEP GETIP Group "The EU and Energy Efficiency: A Successful Approach in the Built Environment?"
September 24, 2008. On 21 October from 2.30 to 5 p.m., CIEP will organise the fourth meeting in its GETIP Group discussion series about the role of the EU as an actor for energy transition. Theme will be the EU and energy efficiency, with a focus on the built environment. Is the EU approach to energy efficiency succesful? Speakers will be Mr Luc Werring, Senior Fellow of CIEP and former Director at the European Commission’s Directorate of Transport and Energy, and Mr Marcel Engels, Director of the Dutch umbrella organisation for technical retail trade and installers Uneto-VNI.
