Expert workshop "Carbon capture and storage: a reality check for the Netherlands"
July 9, 2008. On the 3rd of July CIEP organised an expert workshop dealing with the state of the art and the potential of carbon capture and storage as an abatement option for the Netherlands. The CCS reality check is meant to understand possible issues on the road towards large scale carbon capture and storage in the Netherlands. During the workshop CIEP presented the preliminary outcomes of its CCS reality check and asked six important stakeholders to react on the key findings. The workshop was attended by a large number of participants from public and private organisations dealing with carbon capture and storage. The forthcoming report will be published and available on the CIEP website in September 2008. Read more »
