CIEP Informal GETIP Group Meeting "The EU Green Energy Package"
March 10, 2008. On January 23, 2008, the European Commission launched its "Climate action and renewable energy package". This new policy package is meant to specify in more detail elements of the "sustainability pillar", which together with security of supply and competitiveness is one of the main objectives of EU energy policy as outlined in 2007.
