Seminar on future network concepts for the European electricity market
June 18, 2007. "It's the grid, stupid!" was the final statement made on a seminar CIEP organised at May 30, 2007, about future visions and concepts of the European electricity grid. The need to transform our energy system into a more sustainable and secure one also has significant implications for the grid infrastructure. Future types of electricity generation can only be implemented when the grid can accommodate the varying characteristics of different power generation technologies.
