CIEP briefing paper Ownership unbundling and CIEP briefing paper on Post-Kyoto
August 25, 2005. CIEP introduces a new publication series. Through briefing papers CIEP provides background information and/or comments on topical issues in the energy sector.
The first briefing paper by Christoph Tönjes provides an overview of the plans of the Dutch government on ownership unbundling of energy distribution companies. It discusses its advantages, disadvantages and opinions of important stakeholders on the subject. In the second paper Wilbur Perlot discusses the possibilities to reach a new international treaty to succeed Kyoto in 2012 and the position of the EU. The papers can be found here.
