'LNG impacts on North West Europe' 3 February 2006
LNG is high on the agenda of the gas industry and policy makers in North West (NW) Europe. The last few years has seen a mushrooming of LNG regasification plant projects. The Belgian terminal is being expanded, in the Netherlands preparations are afoot for the development of three LNG terminals, while in Germany the construction of a terminal in Wilhelmshaven is again under active consideration.
CIEP's seminar attracted a large international expert audience and deepened insights into
- The outlook for the international gas supply and demand balance and the prominent role of LNG in it
- Current and future LNG pricing structures
- Ongoing LNG infrastructure development in Europe
