Launch of 'The Lisbon Scorecard VIII: Is Europe ready for an economic storm?'

In close co-operation with the Centre for European Reform (CER, London), the Clingendael European Studies Programme, hosted a high level expert discussion with a key note speech by Prime Minister Jan Peter Balkenende on the Lisbon Scorecard. Recently (February 2008) the CER published The Lisbon Scorecard VIII: Is Europe ready for an economic storm? This annual scorecard measures the progress of EU countries towards the reform targets of the Lisbon agenda. It singles out 'heroes' and 'villains' - countries that are doing well or catching up fast, and those that are falling behind. Read more »
