Expert seminar on current and future strategic developments of EU's external policies and relations
On 16-17 March, 2006 the Clingendael European Studies Programme (in collaboration with the Strategic Policy Planning Unit of the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs) organized the expert seminar Towards a European Integrated Foreign Policy? Implementing the EU Security Strategy which was held at the Clingendael Institute in The Hague, The Netherlands.
The seminar opened on Thursday evening with firstly a stock-taking session regarding the EU's foreign policy followed by dinner, and closed on Friday afternoon with a plenary discussion among the participants on the Union's foreign policy.
The main goal of this seminar was to discuss amongst experts from the academic world and daily practitioners the current and future strategic developments of EU's external policies and relations in a broader perspective.
