The results of individual or collective research are published as articles in journals, as special CDSP publications, or as commercially published books. Clingendael publishes predominantly in Dutch and in English. Many publications are the result of international workshops and conferences organised by Clingendael and attended by academics and policymakers from all over the world.
CDSP publishes two different series of papers, the Clingendael Diplomacy Papers and the Discussion Papers in Diplomacy and is also associated with the refereed The Hague Journal of Diplomacy and the Diplomatic Studies Book Series
- Clingendael Diplomacy Papers; a new series of occasional papers, with contributions of the Clingendael staff.
- Discussion Papers in Diplomacy; a two-monthly international series with contributions of experts from all over the world.
- The Hague Journal of Diplomacy; The premier journal for the study of diplomacy and its role in international relations, publishing excellent research being undertaken in diplomatic studies in a variety of intellectual traditions.
- Diplomatic Studies is a new peer reviewed book series that encourages original work on diplomacy and its role in international relations.
