ENTRi Specialisation Course on Security Sector Reform, 6 - 9 December 2011

From 6 to 9 December 2011, the ENTRi Specialisation Course on Security Sector Reform will take place at the Clingendael Institute. Europe's New Training Initiative for Civilian Crisis Management (ENTRi) is a common endeavour of 13 training institutions throughout the European Union. It is a capacity-building programme, funded by the European Commission (80%) and co-funded by the 13 partners (20%). The main goal of the programme is to provide additional training for civilians going to, or already working in, crisis management missions worldwide.

After having completed a very successful ENTRi course on Negotiation and Mediation in October, led by Wilbur Perlot the Clingendael Insitute organises the SSR-course in December with participation of another 25 international participants. CSCP Research Fellow Margriet Drent is the Course Director of this SSR-course. Through guest lectures from experts in the field of SSR, group discussions, exercises and a simulation, the participants will develop and improve their knowledge, skills and competencies with regard to Security Sector Reform.
